QPPD offers various options for use, SAP long text processing and is presented here in detail.
Prerequisite: Technical object "TEXT" already defined
/SCT/QP_CUST → Object types → Technical Objects for object types
Existing text objects and text IDs
QPPD already provides the following predefined text IDs:
Text object: /SCT/QP
TEXT-IDs:
"DESC" ( Description )
"NOTE" ( Note )
"REMA" ( Comment )
Any additional text IDs required can be created using the Std SAPscript setting in transaction SE75.
The comment text offers the possibility to store general information as text, e.g. simple notes.
Use as long text for different text IDs as for sales texts
Texts for a description or with textual specifications.
