This page explains how to correctly create and set up the three necessary spezification types in QPPD Customizing. The aim is to create the prerequisites for structured mapping of material master data in the QPPD. The definition of these spezification types is necessary before a technical synchronization between QPPD objects and the SAP standard can take place.
The following spezification types are required:
Material: Serves as a basis for general material data.
Product: Extends the material level to include location or plant-specific information.
Production_Version: Represents the technical production variant of a product.
