Settings are required to synchronize data between the FDMs in the purchasing document, the QPPD objects associated with the purchasing document, and the purchasing document.

Perform "Synchronization" activity:

Synchronization-objects

If several QPPD APPs and several FDMs are active at the same time, a unique name must be selected here. Otherwise, a change in the SD-FDM, for example, could result in an ME-relevant object being changed.

Create a new synchronization object "QPPD_ME". This represents the QPPD objects for the ME position.

Create a new synchronization object "FDM_ME_HEADER". This represents the FDM at header level in the purchasing document.

image-20240606-102735.png

Create new synchronization object "FDM_ME_ITEM". This represents the FDM at item level in the purchasing document.

Create new synchronization object "ME". This represents the purchasing document.

Synchronization-Model

Create a new synchronization model "ME".

The conditions under which the members become active are defined in this sub-dialogue.

The synchronization object FDM_ME_HEADER is only active if the VART = FDM_ME_HEADER.

The synchronization object FDM_ME_ITEM is only active if the VART = FDM_ME_ITEM_H or FDM_ME_ITEM_V.

The synchronization object ME is only active if the order type (BSTYP) = F and order type (BSART) = NB.

The synchronization object QPPD_ME is only active if the OVART = PO_ITEM.

It looks as follows:

Operations

Define operations.

The following entries must be set.

Mapping

The synchronization object ME only sends the purchasing document item and the material number to the QPPD. As these two values can only be created or changed in the "ME", the direction is set "left to right". The other elements "THICKNESS", "WIDTH", and "LENGTH" as well as the status are synchronized between the other synchronization objects QPPD_ME and FDM_ME_HEADER as well as QPPD_ME and FDM_ME_HEADER.

It looks as follows:

Set linked object types

The object types of the objects involved are linked to the synchronization object here.

The object type FDM_ME of the specification types FDM_ME_HEADER is linked to the synchronization object FDM_ME_HEADER.

The object type FDM_ME of the specification types FDM_ME_ITEM_H and FDM_ME_ITEM_V is linked to the synchronization object FDM_ME_HEADER.

The PROPERTIES and STATUS object types of the PO_ITEM specification type are linked to the QPPD_ME synchronization object.
