The QPPD application is an add-on in SAP and makes it possible to process self-defined objects (mostly specification types).

Transaction: /SCT/QPPD

The QPPD application is characterized by Customizing (specification types/item categories/object categories...) and the actual transaction or application QPPD.

In this section, the QPPD application is explained concerning the general functionalities that are independent of the individual settings.

With the help of screenshots and some examples, application-specific information is presented to support the end user in creating his own QPPD objects.

The Application section shows how user actions are performed within QPPD. Icons and their meaning are explained.

Further information

In the How To (H)s offered in another section, reference is made to specific scenarios. Here, the possible as well as the necessary settings to be made in advance are explained.

These settings refer to the Customizing settings and any programming that may be required. The Customizing area shows the Customizing tables and the fields that are required to design the objects in the QPPD.

The Programming (P) exemplifies the use of the open interfaces within QPPD for various purposes. Topics here are e.g. generation, plausibility, and builder rules.
