The actual transaction or application QPPD is to be started via transaction /SCT/QPPD.
In principle, the QPPD application always consists of the same sub-areas, as long as no customer-specific programming takes place.
From left to right and top to bottom, these are:
Main icon bar with important, context-dependent functions (depending on the object currently being processed)
Tree selected object(s)
Detailed data
Worklist/last objects
Status/Error messages
The node objects displayed in the tree are the different data objects for the individually adjustable specification types and item categories.
The grouped elements defined in the object types are displayed in the detailed data. In most cases, the different groupings are arranged in the form of table tabs.
In the worklist, either node objects that are to be edited and that have been compiled by logic are displayed, or favorites and/or nodes that were last edited are displayed. These can be dragged and dropped into the upper area of the selected objects and then edited.
If a status message (error/warning/information) occurs during the processing of a node's data, it is displayed below the details.
