Set change document profile

If change documents are to be written at the header of the object, the change document profile must be set at the specification type.

Redefine change document profile

Suppose there is a need to redefine the settings of the change document profile for the item types that are assigned to the object. In that case, the following settings can be made for each entry in the "Hierarchy" sub dialog: By default, the change document settings are inherited from the item types. This means that the settings of the item type apply by default. The settings can be redefined by entering a profile in the Change document profile field. If no change documents are to be written, the setting must be changed from "Inherit" to "No".
