In the sales document, several QPPD objects can be created at the following levels:

  • Header

  • Item

  • schedule line

Schedule lines can be assigned and managed. The mapping of additional information is enabled: 

  • Comprehensive product descriptions with reference to master data for use in pricing and order confirmations

  • Quality-related information to control certificate creation

  • Generation of production information based on technical parameters

  • Generation of dynamic bills of material and routings for costing purposes 

Information can be managed centrally for all items via fast entry maintenance.

Via a configurable collective entry screen specific Sales Order Item Fields (VBAP) and data from QPPD Objects can be displayed and maintained.

If certain fields, characteristics, or elements are used in several objects, they can be synchronized automatically.

Error protocols are visible for all objects. It is possible to jump to the detailed display of the QPPD objects.

When copying sales documents, it is configurable which QPPD objects should also be copied.

QPPD objects that are assigned to the sales document can also be managed via the QPPD transaction, i.e. outside the sales document, if authorization is given. 

A parallel processing of Sales Order Items in background is possible.
