Archive Routing

Rules can be defined here that relate to the selection screen of the write program of an archiving object. A specific storage location can be defined for each set of selection conditions.

This allows differentiated storage of archive files at different storage locations depending on the content of the archived data.

The storage location here represents a physical storage medium (content repository) in combination with a file path (logical file name) in the file system.

The routing rules are queried during an archiving run and do not automatically have a retroactive effect.

Year-dependent storage of specification objects

With the following example configuration, all archived specifications of a specification type in the year 2021 are stored for the logical file name "ZQP_ECC_2021".
