The QPPD offers the possibility to start follow-up processes. These allow functionally dependent objects to be updated after a change has been made to an object. These can be implemented individually for the customer. It is possible to process the subsequent processes synchronously or asynchronously with bgRFC/qRFC in parallel. The Follow-up processes (H) page describes how the various follow-up processes can be set.
The standard subsequent processes in QPPD are:
Writing change documents, see Change documents (H)
Data distribution via IDOC and RFC connections, see RFC Data Distribution (H)
Generating INFO records for QPPD objects, see Info Tables (H)
Customer-specific functions, see Creating Customer-Specific Follow-Up Processes (H)
