• Local:

    • The generation of the object type runs automatically as soon as a change of any kind is made to the object type.

  • Global:

    • There are customizing settings that allow you to define dependencies between object types. You can define sender and receiver object types within a specification type. ( see Specification types/Item types → Assignment of object types ). If a sender object type is changed (by a manual entry, a generation method, or other means), the receiver object types are regenerated. Object types can be set up both as receivers and as senders. Global generation processes all object types sequentially until the generation results are stable (i.e. a new generation does not lead to a change in the object type)
