For versioning to work properly, all nodes of an object that are to be versioned must contain all the necessary statuses and operations of versioning. Otherwise, an error message is generated from QPPD. 

At a minimum, the following statuses and transactions are required:

  • With status "Released" (IZQFR)

    • The operation "Create version" (ZQAL) at the status "Released" (IZQFR) must be allowed.

  • Without status "Released" (IZQFR)

    • The operation "Create version" (ZQAL) must be allowed at the current status.

  • Status "Old version" (IZQAL)

  • as well as at least one status in which the node can be edited. This is usually the status "Modified" (IZQMO).

The following figure shows the necessary statuses "Released" (IZQFR) and "Old version" (IZQAL) in the example status profile "Version":
