/SCT/QP_C25 - Specification types
Customizing for versioning is illustrated below using the regulation type DOMAIN. In this example, the versioning type "Weak versioning" is assigned to the regulation type DOMAIN. The settings for the other versioning variants would run in the same way. Shown in the following image.
Only one versioning type can be assigned to a regulation type at a time.
The settings for the versioning type for the item category are maintained in /SCT/QP_C25 under the "Hierarchy" sub-dialog. The reason for this is that the versioning is not inherited and cannot be set in the item category in /SCT/QP_C30.
If one or more item categories are to be assigned to the specification type, settings can also be made for these regarding their version management. The user can decide for himself and select the desired version management. For this example, two item categories (CERT_POS and CERT_VERS) are assigned to the regulation type DOMAIN. Version management inactive" is selected for CERT_POS and "Versioning as copy" for CERT_VERS. The following picture shows an example.
